Hello there,

With problems like these I can assure you they're annoying! It could be RAM,
it could be some dodgy driver or even over-heating issues (being a laptop).

However with this particular problem it sounds more like some form of
Malware. I don't care what anti-virus you have, no offence but nothing
protects your PC 100% it's about time everyone knows the truth. Personally
I am getting sick and tired of removing viruses and spyware from customers
machines, I should make a living from it... oh I do. But I don't like it.

Try this tool: http://www.grc.com/freeware/dcom.htm which puts a plug in the
hole which Microsoft left open.
Also try this tool: vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ from McAfee.
