Hi leemutpo,
When you mentioned that Wordpad and Notepad couldn't find it I crossed
my fingers but now I hope you have a backup.
I always partition my Windows computer.
I allocate 10GB to my C: drive and move "My Documents" to D: drive and
also save any downloads on D: drive.
When I have to re-install Windows I don't lose "My Documents" or
"downloads" because they are on D:
