Nero used to let you copy disks, just bring up a copyright message but
continue anyway.

As alternative if you have another system to work on you could do copy the
files on the cd to your hard disk and use a number of the cd burner package
to recreate it as bootable cd. You will also need a copy of xpboot.bin as the
boot image file. The copy to disk will at least prove the ability to read the
file in the 1st place and also give you the opportunity to build a disk with
any additional applications you would normally install anyway.

The procedure to build a new bootable XP CD is well documented elsewher on
the web. I have already upgrade my recovery CD by slipstreaming Sp3 onto it.
If you want an application to help you through the process of creating a
bootable XP CD look for "nLite" on the web
