Re: auto-run
Ok, I got one of the CD-ROM disks to play on auto-run. The second one. It
says to access the data on the Video Works6 to use the Arcsoft Media
Converter Software disk first and then the Video Works6. Well, I got the
second one to run and said hell with it and ran it and downloaded the data
that I needed. Now, I'm trying to get this first disk to auto-run or run at
all. That's the problem, I wouldn't care if I had to manually get the drive
to play this software, as long as it was played.
Ok, I went to the Start-Run-enter GPEDIT.MSC 2 and got to the area where
Autoplay off/on was at. There are 3 options, one is not configured, which is
what it was, and the other 2 are enabled and disabled. Obviously, I don't
want to enable turn off autoplay. That's something I usually want to have
happen, there are some instant times when I wish autoplay wasn't enabled, but
usually I think it's ok to have it autorun.
What should I do, enable, disable or leave it how it is, not configured?
BTW this is great learning this from you, at least someone explains
something in detail the way I'd like it to be explained to someone else.
Someone here has a brain.
Ok, enough of patting ourselves on the back. LOL
Any more help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, attilathehun1
