You did not indicated the reason for software Routing. Assuming that you
have a regular home Network.
Most End-User are using Wireless Routers, and regular AntiVirus software.
It is a very inexpensive way to provide very stable Internet service to
peer-to-peer network.
Actually the AV that is provided through Appliances is Not always as good as
software AV that is updated very frequently.
Reliable AV appliances are very expensive and require paid subscription as
well.
