Re: Changing product keys to activate and validate
Sorry, but an English version Windows XP product key
cannot be used with an installed Chinese version of
Windows XP. In order to "get genuine", follow these
instructions:

In order to resolve your non-genuine licensing issue, please visit:
www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on "Validate Windows".
When validation fails, click on the "Get Genuine" button which will
provide information on how to acquire a WGA Kit.

How do change the product key on a Windows Xp w/o service pack?
I have a original 2001 version of simplified chinese Xp professional disk
which has a (perhap) pirated key which i just found out sometime earlier...
I am not sure what type of key is it as the pirated key is not the popular
one told on the web... nevertheless i can't proceed past activation... I
tried the registry and the script method but they don't work either....

I DO own a separate license of a legitimate key..the only problem is that
this legitimate key belong to an Retail (I believe) English SP2 version...

Is there any way I can transferr this key to my chinese edition or something
like that to make my Chinese edition legitimate?
