Thanks Mow.

I did as you suggested and had another attempt to get into Microsoft Update
to produce a log I could send you. (Un)fortunately I got in OK and all the
updates were downloaded and installed OK. So, I don't need to copy the log
to you. I wish I knew why getting into Microsoft Update these last few days
has been so hit and miss but I am just glad it's been resolved. How did you
do that??
