Dear David,
I agree that it's abnormal. More than abnormal, quite bizarre.
Nevertheless, that's the way it is.
Let me recapitulate. I keep an important notepad text file on my desktop.
I have for years. Each day or so, I need to add information to this file.
No problem until a few weeks ago. Normally, I would open the file, do the
editing or adding, save it again and that would be that. Something changed,
I don't know what but I would right click, select "View Source" and edit the
source (as one would do when FTPing.)
Now it won't let me see the source to edit. I right click, select "View
Source" and
nothing.
So what I must do is copy and paste the entire txt file to a NEW notepad.
Edit and add to it and then save the new one and delete the old one.
Any insights?
Thanks,
Mari
