USUARIO Y CONTRASEÃ‘A

por que en winxp al acceder a una carpeta compartida que esta en un win
server 2003, el sistema deberia pedirme un usuario y una contraseÃ±a para
ingresar, pero no lo esta haciendo si no que entra directo a la carpeta y no
me deja crear ni borrar archivos, solo me deja consultarlos
