scvhost
A következö problémám támadt. Indítás után az XP 15 (tizenöt) percen át
használhatatlan. A CPU 100 százalék terhelésen jár. A futó processzek
keresi a gép. Azóta az SP3 már fent van, - és a jelenség megmaradt.
Tudja-e valaki a megoldást? Üdvözlettel János

Re: scvhost
Go to MsConfig and in the Start Tab uncheck all running processes (Select Disable All) and then hit Apply. Try the boot again and see if it will be faster

Re: scvhost
Repair install or a reformat.
Why not try what I told you. Start\Run and type in msconfig and hit enter. When it opens then open the Start Up Tab and select Disable All and hit enter. Reboot. Tell us what happens with your boot up then

My Windows is Hungarian language version.
I restarted, a popup window came up at _each_ restart saying:
"A rendszerkonfigurációs segégprogram jelenleg diagnosztikai vagy
szelektív indítási módban van, ezért jelenik meg ez az üzenet...
A Windows normál indításához...az általános lapon jelölje ki a szokásos
indítás elemet."
As I see the virusbuster is running: ekrn.exe
The results can be seen tomorrow when I restart again.
Excuse me, I don't know the English version of the mentioned text.
Kind regards, János

Re: scvhost
Now this is a different story. You are infected with malware
It is not possible to answer your question without knowing what the
trojan is and what security program identified it. See this link for

Now my Windows starts in Selective start (szelektív indítás) mode
Now my Windows starts up in seconds
The disabled programs are, according to msConfig:
Setup D:\Setup.exe /SPEAKER
Mixer Mixer.exe /startup [I can hear the system sounds]
egui C:\Program Files\ESET [virus buster]
ctfmon C:\WINDOWS\Sytem
Reader_sl C:\Program Files\Adobe
RUPS Daemon [Uninterruptable Power Supply]
I don't know now, that the slow start was caused by the Adobe Acrobat or
the Microsoft Upgade program. Your opinion? Kind regards, János

Try it 1 by 1 and see which one is the problem

Re: scvhost
Let us know which one is the one that gives the problem and I will recommend something else.
I would uninstall the adobe reader and install the Foxit Reader instead. It works much better and faster than Adobe and it does the same thing.

It says:

Does it mean the possibility of editing document?
