User Accounts

For Windows XP Home Edition SP2

I don't know whether or not this is the right newsgroup but I have had
tremendous trouble in getting an answer through numerous searches.

Yesterday I set up an account for my wife. We were able to log on and off,
switch users and operate normally. This morning when trying to log on to my
wifes account we got an error message saying that the security log for this
account was full and only adminstators could fix it.

All well and good, but how?

Hi,

Logon to the computer with an account that has administrative privileges.

Press "Start" -> "Run" -> type "eventvwr"

Click the security log item in the left menu

Click "action" -> "clear all events" -> click "yes" if you want to save the
events, click "no" if you don't.

That should do the trick. Hope this was helpfull.
