desktop icons do not stay put

i have a machine with 2 monitors. i arrange my desktop icons on both
monitors. recently the desktop icons that were on the secondary monitor are
now on the primary monitor. i cannot drag a desktop icon to the secondary
monitor unless i uncheck align to grid (which was not required before). i
have another system setup similarly but do not have this problem. what
settings can i chage to restore the abiliy to put icons on the secondary
monitor and keep align to grid on ?

Try windows media home page,downloads,scroll to encoder,locate utilities,
locate,exhibitor pro.The software is specifically for running 2 or more
monitors
at the same time...
