Right click gone from all ares of a computer.

Hi, i use windows xp & run internet explorer, but am not a very computer savy
person. i somehow lost the ability to use use my right click in every
application, on & offline, there is no menu box at all, nothing happens when
i right click anything or anywhere. it mthe problem is not mouse related,
that works fine, im sure it is an option that has been manually turned of by
accident. i have searched loads of pages on the web but to no avail, lots of
ideas but not specifically related to this issue. im sure it has nothing to
do with java scripts as suggested somewhere. can anybody help me? i have
learnt in my search how to use the wheel to open new tabs (thankfully) & also
that i can copy & paste through the edit tab, but i would like my right click
back. many thanx, jo

many thanx for your fast reply, ok, i saved them, ran them, which added them
to a registry. forgive my lack of knowledge but is there something else i
should to do as nothing has changed? :-( i did restart internet explorer but
still no change there for open in new tab etc, no change to copy paste but i
can use right click when clicking on a file in documents for open, explore,
search etc, but not sure if this was disabled before, dont think i checked
that. sorry im so new to all this, many thanx, jo

hi again, keep trying, ;-) showed me what was there, none of the features im
looking for or that should be there, (other than 1 or 2 not that i can access
them) but cant add features to it. i think i may have turned it off through
some menu when possibly trying to dis-allow access to images on a website im
creating, but im sure it was done in my actual computer as oppose to an
external program. why isnt there a button that just says restore/allow right
click ability! lol. surely its a windows feature to stop have stopped right
click access everywhere? but then what do i know lol. thanx again, im off to
bed its now 7am here, no sleep yet! will check back in later. all the best JO
