Trouble with C Drive Access
When I double click to access my C:/ drive thorough My Computer, I receive
error msg stating, "C:/is not a valid win32 application".

I right clicked the c drive and noticed the dropdown menu has an AUTOPLAY
option which I have never noticed before. It seems like my system is trying
to open an application but I am just trying to open my C drive.

My OS is Windows XP Professional.

Please help.

Thanks,

Curtis

RE: Trouble with C Drive Access
1. Open My Computer - Right-click on C Drive and choose Open.
2. Here locate for a file name "Autorun.inf". If you are unable to see the
file. Click Tools - Folder Options - click View tab and check the option
"Show hidden files and folders". Also uncheck the option "Hide Protected
operating system files (Recommended)".
3. Now, you will able to see the Autorun.inf file. Open the file and try to
guess which executable file or application it is recalling.
4. Close the file and delete it. You can also delete the application file it
was referring to located on the root of your C drive if you have made the
right guess. Otherwise, leave it.
5. Restart your PC.

Hope this help, let us know!
