RE: slow start up -have to wait for message "no firewall found"
Leave Regedit alone. Go to: Start>Run>type MSCONFIG and press OK.
Now click the Startup tab and see ALL the items that are checked.
Uncheck any you do not want to start, disable them, except your
Anti-virus program>Click Apply>Close and reboot. Hope it helps. :~)
Also, CLEAN your system, such as deleting Cookies by running
Disk Cleanup at Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools.
There are many more, but this is a start.
