Sound

I seem to have somehow turned off the sound on some of my videos. I can not
get audio on web site videos or one's emailed to me. Other people do hear
the sound.
I have recently put an USB phone jack, called Magic Jack, on my
computer. Could it have taken my audio off?
I see no audio symbol on my tool bar any more.
