Tracking Cookie - What am I Doing Wrong?
Every morning I have a routine that I follow, visiting many web pages,
checking email, etc.
Yesterday after going through this routine, I ran Ad-Aware2007 I found 5
Tracking Cookies as follows:
Tracking Cookie index.dat insightexpressai.comIXAIBanners948/
The remaining 4 were the same except for the name following the IXAI.
I went to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS and added these five
Tracking Cookies asd follows:
127.0.0.1 insightexpressai.comIXAIBanners948/ including the other four.
I saved this file and then checked it again to make sure the new entries
were there. They were.
This morning after going through the same routine, running Ad-Aware2007,
there were the same five Tracking Cookies.
What am I doing wrong?

Incorrect format of the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Remove the
'IXAIBanners948/' and save it again. The 'hosts' file only works with a
propter FQDN; which, in this case, is just: 'insightexpressai.com'.

Firefox allows you to keep, or delete, individual cookies, as well without
adding another program.
