A quick Google for "spads.dll" indicates this may well be adware, and
therefore not something you want to be running.

Go to:
Start > Run > msconfig > OK > Startup

Find spads.dll in the list and uncheck it. Reboot your PC and delete it.

Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these
Web pages.
Help with malware:

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by deceptive software.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

Re: rundll error
Finally after 3 days, I was able to get rid of this nasty malware. I am still
getting a RUNDLL message at start up saying this spad.dll exception. It is
annoying, but is not affecting my system. Any idea of how to get rid of this
exception pop up?
