Screen capture
Running XP Home/SP2 ....
I find it necessary to run an old DOS graphing
program under CMD. It runs and I can make the graph
but it will only print to long-obsolete dot-matrix
printers. So I'd like to capture the screen and save
and print the captured .JPG image.

But PrtScrn and Ctrl-PrintScreen don't seem to capture
it. When I exit, IrfanView won't Paste it in. Any clues,
hints, suggestions? Thanks.

I use Wisdom Soft's Screen Hunter 5.0. It is a free
download from
http://www.wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter.htm

It can be set to capture from the entire screen, a window or
a rectangular area to either the clipboard or to a
autoincrementing file or both. It will capture DOS windows
also without any problems.

About Wisdom Soft's Screen Hunter 5.0......I just tried it,
and it works very nicely for anything via XP, but when
I ran my DOS program from CMD, I couldn't make it capture
the DOS-plotted graph on the screen using the Hot Key.......
Maybe I have to try it some more......

Don't know the issue are having because before I posted
originally, I tried to do a capture of a DOS window and it
worked OK. Are you running your DOS program full screen?
If so, try to run it in a window and see if SH can capture
it then.
