Troubleshooting was Re: Reinstaling XP

It's me again and my apologies for yet another omission.

I just renewed my Norton anti-virus subscription and closed the Norton
window. After I closed it, I could, for about three or four seconds, see
through the Norton window and see the browser's text and what not behind the
Norton window. I could see the four blue bars that make up the window
square itself. This happens maybe twice a month with Netscape or Firefox.

Does that sound like memory problem? Any more ideas on what I can do before
I go whole hog and reinstall WindowsXP?

I've decided to reinstall only Word and not whole version of OfficeXP

I'm using Flock right now. I downloaded it a few days ago and it's leaving
today. I thought I'd try it before I reinstalled FF and Netscape and it's
not the browser for me at all. It allows me to do things because the
programmers want me to be able do them, not because I need to. I think
they're called "features." That is one of my biggest gripes about all
software. Design and write it for its purpose not because you can.
