Unwanted dropdown menus
I have been using my Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack2 on my Dell 4600i
desktop computer with Pentium 4 HT 2.8GHz and 260GB hard drive and 1.5GB
memory for a couple of years now and recently I started seeing unwanted,
random, and self starting "popup" menus appearing on screen at all times
while any program is running. Any help will be appreciated.

1. If you have a wireless mouse, put fresh batteries in it.
2. If you don't have a wireless mouse, try a different mouse.

Your experience comes under the general head of unexplained behavior.
Malware is the most likely cause of such actions.
Hence, are you certain that your system is free of such?

Re: Unwanted dropdown menus
Can you explain what you mean by "popup" menus? Are these general windows
explorer type windows or are they advertisements?
