IE 7 Frame too large
I have an IE 7 in Win XP. Just noticed that when IE is maximized, the left
edge of it window goes out of the viewable area. I adjusted the screen on
the monitor, but the left edge of IE frame is lost anyway. Three other sides
are OK.
I guess that IE .ini file got corrupted somehow. Is there a way to adjust
the size of IE maximized window?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Re: IE 7 Frame too large
Are your graphics drivers updated?
Some graphics drivers applications will allow you to make an additional
screen adjustment with their software. Are you using ATI, nVidia, or what?

Place the cursor on the bar to the left of the minimise / maximise
buttons buttons. Hold down the mouse button and drag the window to the
right until the left edge of the window is visible. Move the cursor to
the left edge of the window and the cursor should change to an arrow
pointing both ways. Hold the mouse button down and drag the edge of the
window to the right. Place the cursor on the bar to the left of the
minimise / maximise buttons and drag the Window to the left so the right
edge of the window is once more aligned to the right edge of the screen.
You usually have to fiddle to get it right. When you have finished close
the window using File, Close not the Close button to the right of
Maximise button and the system should remember the setting and reopen as
you want.

Hope this helps.

In / Tools / Preferences (?? -- I do not use IE), you may
find resetting display fonts one size smaller solves your problem.
(It did for me, when I got a new, larger monitor, and changed to the
next finer display settings.)

Re: IE 7 Frame too large
Thanks, Garry and Don, for your suggestions. I tinkered a bit with the
window and now it's about full, maybe a few pixels short on the left side.
Guess I can live with it.
