MS auto update can't install............

Hi! Whatever this update is it cannot install and I can't delete the little
yellow MS sheild at the bottom of my taskbar. An error pops up and says
something abou a "jitter" and that it can't be installed. What do I do now?
My PC is XP/Home/2nd Addition.

This is C&P of what the download auto-update window says:

Initializing installation... done!
Installing Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 Service Pack 3, English Version
(update 1 of 1)...


How do I get this installed?

MS Windows Update provides free support with related update issues. Open
Windows Update and go to Get help and support and it will eventually take
you to:
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...6527&x=14&y=11
where you can start an email request for help. Give them as much detail info
as possible and I am sure they will resolve your issue for you.
