ScreenSaver not working... screen going blank instead
Hello,

We just reinstalled Windows XP on a new HD. I set up the Screen Saver and
the Power Scheme to not turn off the monitor or HD and not go on standby and
not hibernate. The screen however goes blank rather than the screensaver
displaying. I don't want a dark screen.

Thanks for any help and God Bless,

Mark A. Sam

Does the monitor have its own power savings
settings? Some LCD monitors do, and this setting
overrides anything you will set with Windows.

Have a look in the manual.

I rather doubt it but I'll check that. It wasn't an issue before we
reinstalled Windows. They are Dell flat screen monitors and I haven't
noticed that screen option with them.

Thanks for the feedback.
