RE: moving synchonisation
Hello NT,

Thank you for posting in newsgroup.

According to the description, your concern is that if there is a command
line to move the synchronization to the new share (on a new server). If I
have any misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

Based on the research, here is some information which may be helpful for
you.

Analysis and Suggestions:
========================

You may user Csccmd.exe utility to move the synchronization to the new file
server share.

1. Logon the client computer, and then download and install CSCCMD utility
from the following link:

Csccmd.exe: Client-Side Caching Command-Line Options
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...a69-57ff-4ae7-
96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en

2. After installation, open command prompt and type the following command:

csccmd /moveshare:\\<old server name\share name> \\ <new server name\share
name>.

Ex. csccmd /moveshare: \\univserver1\users \\univsrv1\users

3. Please reboot the client computer and check it has been redirected to
the new file share.

For more detailed information, please refer to:

Features and functions in version 1.1 of the Client-Side Caching
Command-Line Options command-line tool

Hope it helps.

Thanks.
