Lost my IE, Outlook Express and system restore won't retrieve them

I was trying to install the fax software in Windows XP Home SP2 and
accidently deleted several other applications when I went to Add Remove
Windows Components. I have tried to restore them using a System Restore but I
get a message saying the restore can't work. I have a Gateway computer and
don't have the Windows XP disks. I don't know if I use the D: drive system
restore if I will lose all my programs. What can I do?

Just go back to Add or Remove > Windows Components and put a check mark back
in the box for those items previously removed.
