XP SP3 Key Update

Hello,
I work with disk images to restore pcs of our guests. After restoring I
update the windows xp product key with the one of the computer interested.
With SP3 I cannot do it anymore, an error message always occurr when I try to
update. I also tried with new version of the "key update tool" (found in a
topic on technet), but an error always occurrs. How can I resolve? The
licenses interested are 'oem'. Thanks

First thing you can do is provide the error messages.

It's a general error, that talks about generic technical problems. no error
code.
