'very' hidden files ??

Hi,

I noticed a heavily defragged file of 28 MB in my Diskeeper defragmentation
logfile and wanted to delete it. But when I go to the folder where it is
located it is not there. I have already used Internet Explorer's empty cache
etc options.

I am showing hidden system files and am logged in as administrator.

But there are hidden files and folders that I can't even see if I open a
command prompt window.

I have rebooted (cold and warm) but nothing changes.

What's going on?

There's a subfolder in your TIF folder named Content.IE5. It's not easily viewed
while you're logged in with your account. If you log in with a different account
that is a Computer Administrator, you should be able to locate the Content.IE5
folder for your account and delete its contents.

To delete the contents of your Content.IE5 folder while logged on with your user
account, do the following;

First off, make sure you don't have Internet Explorer running.

Next, open this folder in Windows Explorer.

C:\Documents and Settings\Peter\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Click in the Address bar at the top of the window so the folder name is
highlighted.
Hit the right arrow key on your keyboard.
The blinking cursor should now be positioned after Files.
Enter the following,

\Content.IE5

Hit the Enter key.
The folder that opens should contain a number of folders with 8 character
alphanumeric names.
You can delete these folders. Hold down the Shift key while deleting so they are
not sent to the Recycle bin.

Note: You can also do this from the command prompt. Use the CD command to
navigate to your Temporary Internet Files folder and instead of entering just
the dir command as you did earlier, enter dir /a. This should reveal the
subfolders you're not seeing. You can use the RD command to delete the
Content.IE5 folder.

Content.IE5 folder automatically.
