Recovery Administrator Password
I can't boot Windows XP due to some system files that are missing. So, I'm
booting off the XP CD and running recovery. However, I'm asked for an
"Administrator Password". I didn't create one, except for the password I set
to log-in to my user account. How do I get past the password request?

Press the enter key in response to this request to indicate a blank
password.

Re: Recovery Administrator Password
I already tried that. Didn't work. Also, I already tried the administrator
password I created for my XP user account. Didn't work.

Re: Recovery Administrator Password
Actually, hitting retun got me past the password request. However, after
hitting "enter", I get "c:\windows". The Recovery Console does not execute
or run. My only choice is to type "exit" and start over with the same
result. Why doesn't the Recovery Console execute after hitting "enter"?
