Re: Using microsoft backup after restoring computer
I went through performance and maintenance, then selected backup, and then
worked through the menu for full system backup which included making a
diskette. So the backup system is microsoft, my computer operates on XP
Professional. The backup was stored on a separate drive 'e' which became 'f'
when the computer was restored, other applications within the separate drive
like media work, but the backup will not open.
Any ideas, my thought was that the operating system restored may not have
been the same as the one installed, or after two years of updates the backup
file isn't recognised.
