m...I have use Registry Cleaners for 6 months and everything seems O.K.

Too many argue about Registry Cleaner snake oil or not.

It is true if your computer are running normally you should leave
Registry alone. If your computer running slower and slower, there is a
great chance your registry database has grown too large and need some
housekeeping.

This is where registry cleaner became useful, if you really don't like
commercial cleaner, use freeware.

Certainly commercial cleaner has promote their product into magical
repair tool, but still does not replace a professional computer repair
guy.

Use them wisely, just another tool for keeping your computer on the
track.

That's the insidious thing about using registry cleaners. *Most* of
the time you get away with using them, and they don't cause a problem.
That leads people to believe that they are safe when in fact they are
not.

None of us claims that using a registry cleaner will cause a problem
every time. Rather it's that there is a *risk* that using one will
cause a problem. And that problem, if it occurs, can be a severe one.

Not at all true. There's no such thing as "too large" and
"housekeeping" is never needed.

Registry cleaners attempt to fix non-existent problems, and create a
severe risk. They are a very bad bargain, even if freeware.
