SyncToy

Hi all, great group, this. Hope I am not off topic.

I find the XP SyncToy one of the most useful tools EVER. But...
Query 1: is it possible to select/unselect groups of subfolders all in one
go by clicking on the topmost (contaning) folder, rather than tediously
having to click on each individual subfolder?
Query 2: can you tell the program to ignore single files (ie the SyncToy
data files)?
Query 3: finally, why does SyncToy keep reproducing all the hundreds of
folders which are unselected in the origin AND destination list of folders
to sync? They are created in the dest disk as EMPTY folders... Can it be
avoided?
