unable to see Local Area Network in network Connection

Dear all,

I'm facing a strange problem in Toshiba Laptop M500. Problem is Local
Area network connection icon is not appearing in Network Connection, i
uninstall n install the driver again but no sucess. LAN Adaptor is
Intel pro 10/100. when i put the cable in Adaptor light is glow &
connection is also seen in device manager. is there any problem in
Registry or something. please advice me for the same.

Thanks in Advance.
