running image is resetting

I have a configuration that is deployed on about 160 machines and a few
machines a week reset. Since the devices are headless and diskless there is
no indication left behind of what happened. I have no custom drivers in the
system, just some applictions that do media encoding. My applications are
all in C and I have not found any evidence of memory leaks. What tools are
available that will help me gather debug information? Is it possible to get
crash-dump information sent out of the NIC ports?
