User having Sync problems

One of the users on our network (SBS 2003 server, XP Professional
workstations) is having problems with syncronizing.

After performing the Sync, the message of 6 offline files need to be
syncronized. When you click View Files, all of the files show that they are
syncronized. You syncronize again... Same thing. It is an endless loop.

How can we remedy this problem?

Additionally, this user is knocked offline pretty frequently.

No one has any ideas?

You might have better luck in a different group - this one is for XP
Embedded. One devoted to consumer versions of XP
(microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, for one) or Windows networking
(microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web perhaps?) would seem more
appropriate...
