Migrating to a new system
I have decided to upgrade significantly to a new system. In the
process I am replacing the HD from IDE to SATA and also new MB etc.

What I need is a guide on what and where (to find) the necessary files
that i need to keep. Obvoiusly "My documents" is the first candidate,
but its things like outlook, internet (Firefox) favourites + passwords
etc.

Anyone found a decent site that helps the user through the migration

Thanks (in advance)

John

Use the XP Files and Settings Transfer wizard to select the files and
settings you want to save and save them to intermediate storage. After
reinstallation install your apps and then restore the files and settings
using FAST a second time. What you save is up to you. If something is
useful to you, save it.
