Running Office 2003 and 2007 in conjunction
Is there any way to run Microsoft Office 2003 in conjunction with 2007?

Yes there is a way. I had Office 2003 already installed in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office
2003, then installed Office 2007 in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 2007. Both versions
work a treat.

Re: Running Office 2003 and 2007 in conjunction
Since office versions from 2003 install by default to a version specific
folder there is no need to create a specific folder

Except for Outlook. You can only run one Outlook. Choose which version you
want to run.

Don't know why I didn't think of that!
Works perfectly, thanks.

You've already gotten answers to your question, but may I ask *why*
you want to do this?
If, for example, you want to have Word 2003 available so other people
using Word 2003 can read your Word documents, let me point out that
Word 2007 (and the other Office 2007 applications) *can* save files in
the old .doc format, not just .docx.

Re: Running Office 2003 and 2007 in conjunction
I am aware of this, yes.
My reason is that the computer is used by several people. I prefer the 2007
version, but other people don't, so it was a means of compromise.

Is there any way you could ask in a group that had OFFICE in the
title? Any way you could realize THIS group lacks that word?
Ask elsewhere

OK, that's fine. I just wanted to make sure.
