C:\Config.Msi tmp files?
C:\Config.Msi is a hidden folder on my XP notebook and it contains
numerous tmp files. Can these be safely deleted?

Thanks.

Jeff

Re: C:\Config.Msi tmp files?
They should be deleted automatically when a program installer has completed
the installation; however, this doesn't always happen as you can see. After
rebooting your PC, delete them.

Re: C:\Config.Msi tmp files?
Config.msi contains backups of files from a program installation. This
folder is deleted automatically. Sometimes an installer fails to remove
it. You can safely delete the CONFIG.MSI folder and files from your hard
drive.
