Windows cannot find null
Long time user of XP Pro and Explorer 7 and just recently am receiving the
following error when clicking on favorites or typing in address manually in
IE7.

error, Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then
click Search.

Multiple pages may open but remain blank.
This same error has been addressed on 12-23-05 and 8-22-06. Ramesh had
addressed these with a fix concerning 905915 update. This may have worked in
05 but no help in this case.
Thanks for your help, JC

RE: Windows cannot find null
IE7 - "windows cannot find '(null)' make sure you typed the name correctly
and then try again, to search for a file click the start button"
Operating system - Windows XP Home/professional

REMEDY -

Please uninstall Internet explorer 7 using following method:
1. Click start and then click run and then type
c:\windows\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe and then press Ok
2. Follow instructions on the screen
3. Finally click Finish to restart the computer
4. Try to browse websites, IT SHOULD HAVE REVERTED BACK TO IE6 and be ok
