Desktop icons - is there a Memory seting for a cache to speed them up ?

Remember this in the old days but long since forgotten

my PC is taking ages redrawing them

i know i need a rebuild but this would help me out for a while

mine didn't even have the key never mind the default

set mine up and went for 4000

i have 2 gig of ram

miles better - well worth doing
