Icons on login screen won't work
I've seen about every other login problem but this one. I've had NO issues
with my computer, and haven't installed new software. Today I rebooted and
the account icon cannot be clicked. I tried using the alt+tab keys and was
able to highlight the icon, but could not select it to get any further. I
rebooted into Safe Mode, and the same thing happens - no way to get past the
login screen.

Any ideas? Thanks!

With the Welcome screen displayed, hit the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys at the same
time twice. This should bring up the Logon to Windows dialog where you can enter
your user name and password. Hopefully, this will allow you to log on and get to
work fixing the problem. One possible solution could be to run System Restore
choosing a restore point created before the problem first occurred.

Good luck
