PC auto restart when click the Microsoft Windows Network
Hi!

I'm facing a strange problem. When I click my network places and click the
Microsoft windows network. My pc will auto restart. I don't know why this
problem happened. I have use Symantec antivirus to scan my PC, however no
virus found. So I don't think caused by virus issue. So any guys here have
met this problem before?

Regards

Is this a new problem? If so then use System Restore to set
the machine back to its previous condition.

Does it happen in Safe Mode with Networking too? If so
then disabling your various "Startup" tasks in msconfig.exe
might give you a clue.

To get into Safe Mode, press F8 repeatedly during the
early startup phase.

Run get into msconfig, click Start / Run, then type
msconfig.exe.

Try using System Restore to take the computer back to a date that
precedes when this started.

Re: PC auto restart when click the Microsoft Windows Network
Thanks for your reply, even i recovered it used system restore. however when
i click the Microsoft Windows Network, it will auto restart. Even i disable
all startup task in msconfig. once i click the Microsoft Windows Network, the
PC will auto restart also. If i try to search network PC and click any PC
that located in network. the will auto restart also. I really no ideal what

Re: PC auto restart when click the Microsoft Windows Network
I made three suggestions:
- Use System Restore
- Use Safe Mode
- Disable startup tasks

So far you have tested two out of the three suggestions.
