Drive Letter Assignment
I have multiple removable HDs and USB sticks. I assigned drive letters by
applying diskmgmt.msc.

However, when I connect the devices, the drive letters are reassigned. For
example, the USB Stick I assigned H, will be reassigned G by the computer if
no other removable drives/sticks are connected. (A thru F are fixed drives)

Is there a way to assign drive letters permanently?

Thanks - Louis

Have a look at USBDLM: http://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbdlm_e.html

The OP is already using the Disk Manager. And as it has been
suggested for one of your previous replies - you should reply
to the OP, not to the respondents.
