This is most likely a hardware problem. The beeps that you hear when a
computer starts are called "Beep Codes" or "BIOS Beep Codes". From
these beep codes technicians can determine possible hardware problems,
the beep codes are different for different makes of computers. It can
be normal for the computer to issue a few beeps, or not beeps when it
starts, but if your computer starts to boot with a different beep
pattern than what it usually does then you probably have a hardware
problem. If the machine is still under warranty you should call the
manufacturer and arrange to have them fix it. If the machine is out of
warranty you may want to take it to a competent computer repair shop.
You can search the internet and find out what the beep code means, just
search for your particular make and model of computer or for the BIOS in
your computer, typical search results:
