Add remove software question
I had installed a game Baldur's gate 2 expansion. Uninstalled the game later
using the shortcut in start menu. The game still shows up in Add/Remove
programs. If I click on remove it goes through the motions to uninstall it
but the listing is still there. I have tried a registry cleaner and that
didn't help. I even went into regedit to try and find any trace of the
program and I can't find anything. Is there any other way to remove this from
the program list?

Re: Add remove software question
Removing the short cut does not uninstall the program. You get that message
any time you delete a shortcut.

Re: Add remove software question
To remove items in add/remove programs after program has been deleted or
removed:
click start--run--type in regedit---click OK
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACH_Software\Microsoft\windows\current version\uninstall
Highlight and delete.
