Administrator loss. TIA

I seem to have lost admin control. ie; cannot enter registry "regedit"
as I get the message "Registry editing have been disabled by your
administrator".
Any help with this problem will be gratefully accepted.

Kelly, I got a tip from Doug Knox yesterday (Sunday) with the link to
Kelly's Korner & found the magic SUPERAntiSpyware. Worked great
finding a load of "unwanted". Now a Windows repair job & all will be
well (till the next time). Many thanks for a quick response & good
advice, Kelly.
