Can I combined free space (with different file system)
In my hdd, there are 3 partitions C: (NTFS) while the others D: and E: are
FAT32.
I have free up some space in D and E and thinking of giving the free space
to C partition. Can I do that if the file system are different? Please
advice. TIA

You have to use a partition manager, e.g. Acronis DiskDirector.

A file system always holds for the whole partition.
Ever tried to format half a partition for FAT, the
other for NTFS?

Re: Can I combined free space (with different file system)
Many thanks for the response, so what I did was to reformat the E partition
and add part of it to C: using Partition Magic.

Yes. Shrinking D: and E: will result in unused space on the disk.
Since that space is in no partition, it's governed by no file system.
You can then add this space to C:, the software will make the
necessary adjustments.
