Failure to install an operating system is usually caused by:
1. Bad install disk (test on another computer); or
2. Bad optical drive; or
3. Bad hard drive; or
4. Bad RAM; or
5. Other failing hardware components; or
6. Combination of some of the above.
Since you didn't give any information about your system, the exact error
message, and why you needed to reinstall, that's as specific as I can get.
