Help Please!

I receive the following message when I boot my Windows XP based computer:

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\msupdte.exe The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal
instruction. CS: 0000 IP: 01d0 OP: f0 00 f1 03 c6 Choose 'Close' to terminate
the application"

How can I fix this?

Type "msupdte.exe" into a Google search field. You will find
that your machine is infected by malware.
