How can I get "search" to do this?

Suppose I highlight 2+ folders. I right click and select "search." How do I
make that feature open only one window that searches only the 2+ folders I
highlighted instead of a seperate search window for each folder?

Dunno, but you can do it in Agent Ransack by separating the folder paths
with a semicolon.
